Compliance Framework

Built around municipal requirements, qualified personnel and inspection readiness

We operate with compliance in mind. Site personnel, safety, insurance availability and testing readiness are structured around the project scope, consultant requirements and municipal expectations — not improvised once the work starts.

Required Site Personnel

A project team scaled to scope and consultant requirements

Site teams are structured according to project size, consultant specification and municipal requirements. Below is the full personnel pool we can deploy.

ROLE / 01

Site Agent / Representative

Day-to-day site authority, programme management, consultant liaison and oversight of work execution.

ROLE / 02

Qualified Plumber

Red-seal plumbing capability available where required by consultant specification or municipal requirement.

ROLE / 03

Safety Officer

OHS supervision, safety file management, toolbox talks, incident reporting and risk assessment on site.

ROLE / 04

Foreman / Pipe-Laying Supervisor

Trench supervision, pipe-laying discipline, bedding control and quality of jointing on water and sewer works.

ROLE / 05

Skilled Pipe Layers

Experienced pipe layers and general labour for trenching, laying, jointing, backfill and reinstatement.

ROLE / 06

Plant Operators

Operators for TLB, excavator and compaction plant where the scope requires mechanical excavation or backfill.

Note: The site team is structured per project. We can adjust composition based on project size, consultant specification, municipal requirements and risk profile of the works.
Safety

OHS-aligned site execution

Construction safety is treated as part of the work, not an add-on. We can structure safety arrangements around the requirements of the project, the consultant and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

For sewer connection and reticulation works in particular — where excavation, confined spaces and public liability risk apply — we work with project teams to ensure the right safety arrangements are in place before work begins.

  • Safety file preparation available per project
  • PPE for site personnel
  • Toolbox talks on site
  • Incident reporting protocol
  • Safety officer supervision where required
  • Coordination with consultant and project safety teams
Insurance

Project-specific public liability — arranged where required

Note / Insurance How We Handle It

Available on request — arranged per project

Where required, project-specific public liability insurance can be arranged before commencement. For sewer connection works, consultants may require public liability cover at a specified limit before inspection and commencement.

We can either include this as a provisional allowance in the quotation or arrange it once the project scope, the required insured limit and the parties to be noted on the policy are confirmed.

What We Need from You

Information needed to arrange cover

  • 01 Required insured limit (commonly specified by consultant)
  • 02 Parties to be noted on the policy (consultant, principal agent, municipality)
  • 03 Project location, scope and duration
  • 04 Any specific endorsements requested by the consultant
Testing & Inspection

Testing and inspection treated as part of the work

Pressure testing, sewer air testing, CCTV inspection preparation, defect correction, reinstatement and handover readiness — all built into the programme. The objective is acceptance on the first inspection.

TEST / 01

Water Pressure Testing

Support for hydrostatic pressure testing of installed water mains, reticulation and connections to consultant and municipal requirements.

TEST / 02

Sewer Air Testing

Air testing support on installed sewer lines and connections — preparation, attendance and defect response.

TEST / 03

CCTV Inspection Prep

Cleaning, access preparation and supporting works to enable CCTV inspection of sewer lines before acceptance.

INSPECT / 04

Inspection Attendance

Site presence during consultant and municipal inspections — to answer queries, action minor corrections and protect the inspection visit.

DEFECT / 05

Defect Correction

Punch-list closeout and correction of issues identified at inspection — followed by re-inspection arrangement.

HANDOVER / 06

Handover Support

Records, completion paperwork and reinstatement signed off — works left in a state ready for municipal acceptance.

Compliance Items Confirmed Per Project

What varies by project, and how we confirm it

Statutory and consultant compliance requirements differ by project, municipality, client and scope. Rather than publish a fixed list of certificates and cover amounts, we confirm the specific items required by the consultant or client at quotation stage, and prepare or arrange them before mobilisation.

Items above are confirmed per project. Where a specific certificate, cover amount or grading is required, we will provide it on request — see the readiness pack option below.

Consultant Readiness Pack

A single document you can keep on file

Vendor onboarding and prequalification usually call for the same documents in the same conversation. We can send you a project-specific readiness pack covering company profile, service scope, personnel structure, compliance checklist, safety requirements, insurance arrangements, testing and handover expectations, and the information we need from the consultant or client to quote accurately.
